CNRS Research Engineer

 

Dr. Christian Ulysse received his Ph.D. in Electronics in 2004 from the University of Paris 6, specializing in superconducting detectors for THz applications. During his postdoctoral tenure at the Laboratory of Photonic and Nanostructures (LPN), he contributed to the development of single-atom electron pumps for the quantum metrological triangle experiment in collaboration with the LNE (Laboratoire National de Métrologie et d'Essais). Following the establishment of the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (C2N) in June 2016, Dr. Ulysse assumed the role of Technological Deputy Director of the Micro and Nano-Technologies Innovation Platform (PIMENT). In this role, he has led efforts to integrate and advance cutting-edge micro- and nanotechnologies, driving innovation and promoting scientific excellence. In 2024, Dr. Ulysse was appointed Technical Director of the PIMENT platform, where he continues to oversee the development and implementation of state-of-the-art technological solutions.
